Hospital hallways never slow down.
Between clinicians, patients, visitors, and equipment, moving a mobile X-ray system safely through a busy facility is just as important as acquiring exceptional images.

That's why the Samsung GM85 includes an integrated horn—giving technologists a simple way to alert those around them when navigating crowded corridors, busy intersections, or patient care areas.

It may seem like a small feature, but thoughtful design is often found in the details.
✔️ Improve awareness in high-traffic environments
✔️ Support safer transport throughout the hospital
✔️ Help technologists move confidently and efficiently

Innovation isn't always about adding complexity. Sometimes it's about solving everyday challenges with practical solutions that make life easier for the people who care for patients every day.

What if every mid-trimester scan could be complete and consistent regardless of user experience level?

In a recent Samsung Healthcare white paper, Dr. Daniele Di Mascio, Dr. Ilenia Mappa, and Dr. Giuseppe Rizzo state using “Live ViewAssist™ to continuously monitor and optimize the acquisition process during live scanning may serve as a decision-support system that enhances consistency, particularly for less experienced operators, such as residents and fellows.”

By automatically identifying key fetal structures, mapping up to 47 views, and generating up to 46 measurements in real time, it helps ensure required views are captured supporting more complete, consistent exams and reliable documentation across users.

Choose your view. Explore assistive tools designed to support radiologists during image review:

• Bone Suppression: Generates a companion image that suppresses the appearance of ribs and clavicles—without additional exposure—to help improve lung field visibility
• S-Enhance: Improves the clarity of tubes, lines, and other structures to support image interpretation

A simple, guided way to support image review— so you can focus on what matters.

Not all Automatic Exposure Control (AEC) is created equal.
Samsung's S-AEC (Smart Automatic Exposure Control) on the GM85 Elite is designed specifically for the realities of mobile X-ray—where every patient, every room, and every exam presents a new challenge.

Unlike traditional portable imaging workflows that often rely on manual technique selection, S-AEC intelligently analyzes patient anatomy and imaging conditions to help optimize exposure parameters automatically.

The result is consistent image quality across a wide range of patient sizes while supporting appropriate dose management.

For technologists, that means:
✅ Confidence when imaging complex or critically ill patients
✅ Reduced need to adjust techniques between exams
✅ Consistent diagnostic image quality
✅ A more streamlined workflow when every second matters

Whether you're imaging in the ICU, emergency department, or at the bedside, S-AEC helps remove variability so technologists can focus on what matters most—providing exceptional patient care.

Innovation isn't just about adding new features. It's about making every exam smarter, more efficient, and more consistent.
