I'll be at my office during the Farmers Market on Sunday's from 10 AM – 2 PM at Greenleaf Centre!

I'll have my office open and would love to create a space that serves our community. Whether you're looking for a little self-care, movement, education, or simply connection, I'm exploring different ways to use the space on Sunday afternoons.

A session with me is about more than simply rubbing muscles and helping you feel good in the moment—although that is often a wonderful side effect.

I offer an experience that meets your body exactly where it is today.

With thousands of hours of education and tens of thousands of hands-on appointments over the past 28 years, I combine the wisdom I've gained through study with the intuition developed through experience. Every session is unique because every person who walks through my door is unique.

Whether you're seeking physical relief, emotional balance, mental clarity, stress reduction, or simply a deeper connection with yourself, I draw from a variety of modalities to support your body's natural ability to heal, adapt, and restore.

I don't follow a formula. I listen to what your body is communicating and customize each session to your needs.

What is an essential oil, you may ask… and why is it important to me? 🌿

Essential oils are often referred to as the “life blood” or medicine of the plant. They hold therapeutic properties that may support the body mentally, emotionally, and physically.

There are 3 common ways to use essential oils:
1️⃣ Aromatically — smelling or diffusing
2️⃣ Topically — applying to the skin
3️⃣ Internally — ingesting/tasting

⚠️ I personally do not suggest internal use unless you are properly educated and know exactly what you’re doing. However, aromatic and topical use are wonderful ways to experience the benefits of essential oils.

🌿 1. Aromatic Use (Smell / Diffuse)
Within just 2–3 seconds of smelling an essential oil, your olfactory nervous system recognizes the scent. Instantly, you may be transported to a memory, a feeling, a thought, or an emotion.

From the olfactory system, the signal travels directly to the limbic system of the brain — the area connected to emotions, memories, mood, behavior, and even the nervous system’s stress response. This is why certain scents can calm you, energize you, comfort you, or help you feel grounded almost immediately.

From there, the nervous system communicates throughout the entire body, allowing the body to respond to the properties and experience of the oil.

🌿 2. Topical Use (On the Skin)
When applied topically, essential oils are absorbed through the skin and can enter the bloodstream quickly — often within about 30 seconds.

The life force of the plant meets your body and circulates throughout your system. Essential oils generally peak in the bloodstream around 20 minutes and may continue circulating for up to 90 minutes.
When using oils intentionally to support the body, reapplying approximately every 90 minutes is often considered ideal.

Nature is powerful. The body is intelligent. And sometimes the simplest tools can create the biggest shifts. 💚

Chair Yoga is an accessible and supportive practice designed to help you improve mobility, strength, balance, and flexibility in a gentle and approachable way. Using a chair for support, this class allows you to experience the benefits of yoga without needing to get up and down from the floor.

Movements are guided with mindful breath and intentional pacing to help reduce stress, improve circulation, and regulate the nervous system while creating more ease and comfort in the body.

This practice is beneficial for beginners, individuals recovering from injury, those with limited mobility, or anyone looking for a slower, supportive style of movement. Each class offers an opportunity to reconnect with your body, calm the mind, and build confidence through safe and functional movement.
