Exceptional Foundation Gulf Coast Non-profit program that provides social & recreational opportunities for the special needs community

EFGC opened the doors October 31, 2011 to 8 participants who all wanted the same things - friends. During the past 12 years we have grown and have served over 200 families. EFGC offers a vast range of activities including; cooking, art, Special Olympics, service projects, field trips and much more. The paddles are back out! 🏓

Pickleball Club is officially back after a summer break, and our crew was ready to get back on the courts! Lots of good games, plenty of laughs, and a great start to another season of EFGC’s Pickleball Club.

A huge thank you to the amazing Volunteers at Pickleball Pep Rally! We truly couldn’t do this without you and are so grateful for the time and energy you give to our Participants. 💙

Today we had the sweetest in-house field trip with Vivi from Vivi Cakes N Treats! 🍪💕

Vivi joined us for a cookie decorating class with our Participants, and she was absolutely wonderful! She made the morning so much fun and did such a great job encouraging everyone to get creative and put their own spin on their cookies.

And did we mention… Vivi has even been featured on Food Network’s Holiday Wars S6! 🎂✨ How cool is that?!

🎨🌊 Art with Mrs. Nancy!

We had such a wonderful time last week welcoming Mrs. Nancy back to EFGC for an ocean-themed art class! Our Participants created beautiful ocean scenes and sea animals using shaving cream and spray watercolors. The finished pieces were absolutely beautiful!

Everyone had so much fun getting creative, and even more fun spending time with Mrs. Nancy. We love when she comes to visit and share her creativity with us!

An Exceptional Life Club with an exceptional guest speaker. đź’™

Yesterday, we welcomed Mrs. Jennifer Bisaga of the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation to spend time with our Participants for a meaningful conversation about healthy friendships, kindness, and preventing bullying.

Jennifer brought such a thoughtful and engaging approach to the conversation, creating a space where our Participants could share, listen, ask questions, and reflect on the relationships in their own lives.

We’re incredibly grateful to Jennifer for sharing her time and expertise with our Life Club and for helping our Participants build the skills and confidence to create healthy, supportive friendships and stronger connections within their community.
