EFGC opened the doors October 31, 2011 to 8 participants who all wanted the same things - friends. During the past 12 years we have grown and have served over 200 families. EFGC offers a vast range of activities including; cooking, art, Special Olympics, service projects, field trips and much more. Last Thursday, we gathered for Exceptional Arts, and we are still feeling so grateful for the incredible community that made it all possible.

Exceptional Arts brings our Participants and local artists together through creativity, collaboration, and a shared love for our community. Seeing these partnerships come to life and watching our Participants’ talents shine is what makes this event so special.

If you’ve had your eye on one of our Exceptional Arts Live Auction pieces, make sure you get your HIGHEST bid in before 3:00 PM TODAY!

HOW TO PLACE A BID:
• Comment your bid directly on the photo of the piece you’re interested in OR send us a private message with your bid.
• Please give us your HIGHEST bid!
• Online bidding closes TODAY at 3:00 PM.
• We can ship pieces anywhere in the United States!

EXCEPTIONAL ARTS LIVE AUCTION — EARLY BIDDING IS OPEN!

We’ve had several requests from those who are excited about tomorrow night’s Live Auction, so we are opening up early bidding on the pieces that will be available at Exceptional Arts tomorrow night!

And yes — Exceptional Arts is still happening tomorrow night! We know many of you are watching the weather and making plans, but we are continuing with the event as scheduled. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night at The Venue Fairhope.

HOW TO PLACE AN EARLY BID
• All Live Auction pieces start at $600.
• To place a bid, comment your bid directly on the photo of the piece you are interested in, or send us a private message with your bid.

More About Carrie Jackson:
A native of Southwest Georgia, Carrie has spent her life adoring both the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. Long before moving to Fairhope, AL, she developed a fascination with the native coastal plants and animals she so often uses as subject matter.
Her artistic pursuits have taught her that the creation of a painting is never truly complete without the addition of collage. The act of painting is only the beginning—an initial exploration of color, form, and emotion. Embellishing surface texture through layers of collaged papers, fabrics, and other natural materials creates subtle nuances and captivating details. To Carrie, the collage is essential in her work—it offers depth, context, and complexity that she cannot achieve through paint alone. It is her hope that these details inspire engagement with the viewer as well.
