✨ Rick | Community Conversations: Aural Perceptions ✨

Community Conversations is a thought and discussion-based space that allows attendees to connect through deeper, intentional topics. This year's topic — Aural Perceptions — explores how we as individuals perceive sound and music. Whether you see sound as colors and patterns, hear the notes in your mind, or are carried back to a memory, every perception is unique. Come connect beyond the small talk and listen to some rad music along the way.

Rick has been an Anahata's attendee since 2021 and a staff member since 2024, falling in love with the community and healing that Anahata's Purpose offers and never turning back. With a background in Communications and event planning, her passion for producing experiences is only matched by her love for music — the thing that quiets her brain and brings her home.

✨ Allison Battles | Adventure Into Self: A Guided Parts-Work Journey ✨

This experiential workshop introduces parts work as a way of understanding your inner world as a living system of selves, each carrying a purpose shaped by experience. Through guided meditation, participants will connect with core Self, a protective part, and an exiled part, then deepen integration through somatic movement, play, and reflective journaling. Bring a yoga mat and journal!

Dr. Allison Battles is a licensed clinical psychologist, energy worker, trauma specialist, and certified therapeutic game master. As the founder of BattleRobin Counseling, she supports people in connecting with inner and collective wisdom to heal across the mind, body, spirit, and relationships. A lifelong seeker of wisdom, Dr. Battles explores how spirituality and creative practices can deepen trauma healing and foster meaningful change.

A long-time movement alchemist, Cheryl has been circulating in the fitness and wellness realms for over 15 years, helping to spread joy through movement and inspiring others to find passion in moving heavy weights. With too many certifications to list, Cheryl has a well-rounded fitness and yoga education with experience to match. Her movement philosophy comes from the belief that in order to become closer to spirit, one must ground and take care of the physical body first.

This workshop will bring insight into each of your chakras, energetically clearing them and guiding you to your highest form. Alexandra of Sol Navitas (Sun Energy) began her journey with energy healing as a young child, attuned by her grandmother — a psychic Reiki master. As an energy healer, Alexandra has the ability to see your energy sequences, including your chakras and blocked energy, guiding you to deep relaxation, tranquility, and clarity — alchemizing tension and trauma into creativity and love.

Paul Patterson | Earth Ephect is an explorer of consciousness, music channeler, and somatic contact ambassador. Alongside his career as a professional airline pilot, Paul has developed a deep curiosity about humanity's relationship with consciousness and the cosmos — drawing from meditation, lucid dreaming, and other altered states to create spaces that support others in moving beyond self-imposed limitations and into deeper alignment.

🪓Room to Swing an Ax🪓

From the creators who brought us last year’s award winning cult bluegrass sensation The Devil & Daisy Dirt, we’re so excited to welcome back Alex Dawson and Arlan Feiles with ROOM TO SWING AN AX.

ROOM TO SWING AN AX is a Southern Americana Gothic song cycle / memoiristic monodrama blending live music, storytelling, ghosts, witches, buried secrets, and the kind of folklore that sticks to your bones. This performance weaves spoken word with nine bluesy, biographical ballads that pull you through the mud, blood, beauty, and brutality of Dawson’s upbringing on a haunted horse farm in rural Alabama.

From witches in the woods and snakes in the lake to ghosts in the barn and souls trapped inside bent trees, the story unfolds somewhere between fever dream and memory. Beginning with the morning Dawson’s stepfather struck him in the head with a five-pound Fireside Friend and ending with the old man buried among his horses.

We are so excited for this storytelling experience that feels pulled from a dream you’re not sure you actually had.

We’re currently looking for folks to lend a helping hand in a variety of ways, including:

• Facilitator Assistance
• Breakdown Crew
• Box Office
• and more!

Our volunteer team has stretched and grown beautifully over the years, and as some of our cherished longtime Core Team Members take a well-deserved rest this season, we’re opening the door for some new folks to step in to be part of the magic.

This year also comes with a few new incentives… including later-night activities being added and the pool being open!!

Needless to say, we’re gonna need some extra hands on deck.

Laura Tempest Zakroff (she/they) is a professional artist, author, performer, and Modern Traditional Witch based in New England. She holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and is the author of several bestselling Llewellyn books, including Weave the Liminal, Sigil Witchery, Tarot by Tempest, and Anatomy of a Witch, as well as the artist and author of the Sigil Witchery Oracle, Anatomy of a Witch Oracle, and The Liminal Spirits Oracle. Laura is the creative force behind several community events and teaches workshops online and worldwide.
