Bittersweet but exciting decorating changes happening in The Wellness Nook. I took down my mandala tapestry that has been with me in all of my healing art spaces over the last 10 years. I was feeling the need for something fresh and I thought- "why have I not hung any of my talented hubby's abstract art up in here yet?" So I did, and I really love how it turned out! There is a lot more color coming at you, but it feels like a true healing + art space.

I am continuously amazed at how resilient babies are💞 I hear all of the birth stories during my craniosacral therapy sessions and have had babies come to my studio who have had a rough start to life. Yet, I have witnessed significant changes in a short amount of time that have left both me and the parents in awe. Our nervous systems want to be working from a place of optimal health, and babies have the ability to let trauma and tension patterns unwind efficiently and effectively when they have gentle acknowledgement and feel supported and connected in a safe space. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy can help babies (and adults!) in so many ways for many different reasons. There is a lot of info on my website if you would like to learn more. The Downtown Davenport Lemonade Sip N' Shop is happening this Saturday May 30th. I will be giving away 3oz tins of some hand-crafted natural sunblock to the first 20 people who stop by! I will also have my massage table set up downstairs in the little lobby of my building offering $15/15min sessions, deals on gift certificates and fresh lemonbalm/mint infused lemonade💛 There are many other businesses participating offering a promotion, there will be live music all around downtown, and it all co-incides with the Iowa Vintage Festival at The River Center. Happy Mother's Day to all of you beautiful mama's out there💖 I have to give a special shout-out to my mom, Lisa! I am excited to be a part of two lovely upcoming events later this month! On Saturday April 25th from 10am-12pm I will be a part of Gloria Birth Services free postpartum group (4601 Utica Ridge Rd.) and giving a talk and demonstration about craniosacral therapy and massage for babies.
And on the 28th I will be collaborating with Becky from Illuminate Healing Studio at CASI ( Center for Active Seniors) in Davenport for a deep relaxation class that will include gentle yoga and a sound bath!
