MEET THE DOC,
My name is Dr Carter Nameth and I was born and raised in Saskatchewan Canada. Prior to coming to Iowa, I graduated from the University of Regina with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology with a major in Human Kinetics in 2022. Wanting to further my understanding of the human body and anatomy, I pursued further education here in Iowa and graduated Magna Cum Lada from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2025.
Growing up, I lived a very active lifestyle and have played hockey since I was able to walk. Later, I found a passion for weightlifting which ultimately lead to my passion for helping people be the best versions of themselves. After a sports injury in undergrad, I went and saw a chiropractor for the first time and left feeling pain free for the first time in weeks. It was here that I learned that being the best version of yourself stemmed further than just performance, thus developing my chiropractic vision of Move Well, Live Well, Perform Well.
I believe that everyone is an athlete. Some peoples sport is to play hockey or football, for others it is to play on the floor with their grandkids. We work together to help you be the best version of yourself and will find strategies to help keep you in that state long term. This can be through techniques like: Selective Functional Movement Assessments (SFMA), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage (IASTM), Flexion distraction, trigger point, pin and stretch, targeted exercise, and more.
