d challenges so they can fully enjoy their success and present moments. She does this by using scientifically proven methods that help them to release what's currently holding them back and leverage their perceived weaknesses into superpowers. By utilizing Theresa's unique approach to the Emotional Freedom Technique, her clients have overcome nervousness and difficult situations such as preparing for big presentations, overcoming their fear of flying, and transitioning through divorce. Theresa’s personal struggles with past traumas, high functioning anxiety, and ADHD kept her in an ego driven holding pattern of dissatisfaction and stress for longer than she likes to admit. All of those negative feelings seemed to melt away when she began cracking the code to her nervous system, taking responsibility for her own wellbeing, and elevating her consciousness in ways that truly restored her feelings of calm, clarity and confidence. Theresa is the host of the Becoming More Me Podcast and lives near Washington, DC with her husband, Jeff, and their 4 boys as well as their 2 yellow labs.

Tweaking can feel productive.

So can researching.
Planning.
Reorganizing.
Getting ā€œalmost ready.ā€

But if the thing still isn’t moving toward done… your nervous system may be choosing safety over completion.

That doesn’t mean you’re lazy.

It means follow-through needs to feel safer than staying in preparation mode. ✨

Comment FINISH and I’ll send you the 7-minute practice that helps move ideas out of the ā€œgetting readyā€ loop.

We can get confused thinking that our personal work is about achieving goals...but it's actually about becoming the person who can and expanding the capacity required to hold the goal.

That’s the work.

I have a daily practice that I've formed an entire course around- I love it and use it daily because it expands my capacity to take action and my belief in what's possible.

Comment "FREEDOM" and I'll send it to you!

Anxiety loves to show up right before the thing that matters.

The interview.
The podcast.
The sales call.
The conversation.
The moment where you want to sound clear, grounded, smart, and like yourself.

And suddenly your nervous system starts rehearsing every way it could go wrong. šŸ˜…

That’s why tapping can be so helpful before the moment begins.

You don’t have to pretend you’re calm.

You can tap on what’s actually there:

ā€œThis pressure to get it right.ā€
ā€œThis fear of messing up.ā€
ā€œThis need to sound smart.ā€
ā€œThis tightness in my chest.ā€
ā€œThis worry that I’ll blank.ā€

And as your system starts to settle, you get more access to your voice, your confidence, your clarity, and the version of you who knows why she’s there. ✨

Comment ME and I’ll send you the next step to experience this.

In this season of my life, there was a low-level hum of responsibility that kept hypervigilance and cortisol HIGH. So many things felt simultaneously important...

Someone always needed me.

Being present and responsible and holding it all together meant I was doing life "right".

But underneath that… I was tired. Not just physically exhausted… but mentally fried.
My attention was always being pulled in ten different directions…
And no matter how much I got done, it never felt like anything was actually complete.

It took me longer than I’d like to admit to realize this…

You can’t treat everything like it matters equally and expect to feel focused, calm, or fulfilled.

I'm just going to repeat that again-

You can’t treat everything like it matters equally and expect to feel focused, calm, or fulfilled.

Your brain doesn’t work that way.
Your nervous system doesn’t work that way.

And trying to force it to… won't EVER work and WILL leave you feeling scattered and behind, no matter how capable you are. Facts!

The shift isn’t about doing less for the sake of it…It’s about getting honest about what actually matters most and learning how to support your mind and body in staying there.

That’s a very different way of living, thinking, believing and operating...And it changes everything.

If you’re feeling pulled in a million directions and ready to focus on what actually matters…

The way you talk about the belief matters.

Because ā€œI’m incompetentā€ lands very differently in your nervous system than…

ā€œA part of me believes I’m incompetent.ā€

One sounds like a final verdict.

The other gives your subconscious a safer place to start releasing the charge.

And if you keep repeating the belief like it’s absolute truth?

Your system may keep organizing around it.

That’s why reframing isn’t just ā€œpositive thinking.ā€

It’s a doorway into changing how your nervous system holds the story.

And when the belief is still running your choices, your confidence, your visibility, your money, your follow-through, or your relationships…

It needs attention now. Not someday. ✨

Comment READY and I’ll send you the next step to start working with the belief underneath the pattern. šŸ’–

Starting isn’t usually the problem.

You have the ideas.
The vision.
The desire.
The tabs open.
The notes app full.
The half-finished projects quietly judging you from every corner of your life. šŸ˜…

But when it’s time to follow through?

That’s when the old wiring can get loud.

Procrastination.
Avoidance.
Overthinking.
Choosing ā€œsomething elseā€ that feels productive but isn’t actually the thing.

And then we make it mean something negative about ourselves…

ā€œI’m lazy.ā€
ā€œI’m inconsistent.ā€
ā€œI never finish.ā€
ā€œWhat is wrong with me?ā€

But most of the time, your nervous system isn’t trying to ruin your life.

It’s trying to protect you from an old subconscious rule like:

✨ Being seen isn’t safe
✨ Finishing means judgment
✨ Success creates pressure
✨ More will be expected of me

I know this loop because I lived it.

Strong starts. Big ideas. So much drive.

Then… stop.

Everything changed when I stopped relying on willpower and started working with my nervous system and subconscious instead.

Little by little, my focus improved, my confidence grew, my follow-through felt calmer, and my life and business expanded.

That’s why I created Finish What You Start.

For the woman who’s tired of saying, ā€œI know what to do… so why am I not doing it?ā€

Comment FINISH and I’ll send you the place to start.

What if your focus problem didn’t start with focus?

Because by the time a woman says, ā€œI’m just disorganized,ā€ ā€œI never follow through,ā€ or ā€œI can’t stay consistent,ā€ that belief has usually been rehearsed for years.

And once it becomes part of how you see yourself, another planner usually won’t touch it.

Another strategy may help for a week.

Another productivity hack may give you a little spark.

But if the deeper pattern is living in your subconscious and nervous system, the real question becomes…

Where did this start, and what would actually need to shift for follow-through to feel natural instead of forced?

That’s the kind of question worth exploring. ✨

Comment READY and I’ll send you the next step.

ADHD Entrepreneurs- Affirmations aren’t the answer.

Your body rejects most of the "powerful" ones before your mind can even process them.

You can say, ā€œI am confident.ā€

But if your system associates visibility or greater confidence with judgment… your body tightens.

You can say ā€œMoney flows to me.ā€

But if receiving has historically meant pressure, guilt, or instability… your body contracts.

Your nervous system doesn’t respond to promises or even knowledge...

It responds to lived experience.

That’s why affirmations alone are often useless.

So what works?

You practice evidence before the result happens.

You rehearse the sensation of safety.

You visualize the scenario while regulating your breath.

You take micro-actions that prove to your body: ā€œThis is survivable/doable/achievable.ā€

You build tiny reps of expansion without overwhelm or contraction.

When your body feels safe in the state…

the affirmation stops feeling like a lie.

You don’t force belief.

You create physiological proof.

That’s how identity actually shifts. ā¤ļøāœØ

If your brain knows what to do but your body keeps hitting the brakes…

Comment FINISH, and I’ll send you something that helps you change that pattern in just a few minutes! ✨
