✨ Hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s are NOT the same thing...and understanding the difference can completely change your approach to feeling better.

Here’s the simple breakdown:

🦋 Hypothyroidism = Your thyroid isn’t producing enough thyroid hormone.

🛡️ Hashimoto’s = An autoimmune disease where your immune system mistakenly attacks your thyroid. Over time, that damage can lead to hypothyroidism.

Think of it this way:
👉 Hashimoto’s is the cause.
👉 Hypothyroidism is often the result.

This is why so many women continue to struggle with fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, constipation, hair loss, and inflammation—even when they’re taking thyroid medication and their labs are “normal.”

Medication can replace the hormone your thyroid isn’t making...
But it doesn’t address why your thyroid is being attacked in the first place.

If you have Hashimoto’s, it’s important to look beyond TSH and support the underlying drivers like gut health, nutrient deficiencies, inflammation, blood sugar balance, stress, and immune function.

Knowledge is power—and knowing which condition you actually have is the first step toward finding the right solutions.

👇 Drop a message below and let me know: Has anyone ever explained the difference between Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism to you?

Weird rules I follow so I don’t spiral into another Hashimoto’s flare (and honestly… they’ve made me feel more stable than anything else ever has).

Not glamorous. Not extreme. Just very intentional.

Comment HASHI if you’re ready to start supporting your body from the root, and I’ll send you a message. It’s always me responding—not automated—so it may take me a bit, but I will get back to you.

And follow if you’ve finally found your tribe here. 🩷

That moment you realize a Hashimoto’s diagnosis doesn’t mean you’re stuck feeling exhausted forever… and that you can actually get your spark back. 💃✨

Because healing your body isn’t about:
❌ Eating less and less
❌ Punishing yourself with intense workouts
❌ Accepting fatigue as your “new normal”
❌ Being told everything is fine because your labs fall in range

It’s about supporting your body at the root:
✨ Lowering inflammation and calming antibodies
✨ Healing and nourishing your gut
✨ Looking beyond TSH and optimizing Free T3
✨ Balancing blood sugar and supporting cortisol
✨ Creating an environment where your metabolism can thrive

When your body feels safe, inflammation starts to settle.
When inflammation settles, your energy begins to return.
And when your energy comes back… you start living, laughing, and dancing again. 💃🩷

Comment HEAL if you’re ready to stop merely getting through the day and start feeling like YOU again.

And share this with another Hashimoto’s warrior who deserves to know that feeling good again is possible. ✨

POV: You finally have your energy back and suddenly you’re saying, “Sorry, I cannot hear you... I’m kinda busy.” 💁‍♀️✨

Busy making memories.
Busy saying YES to plans.
Busy laughing with friends.
Busy living your life again.

Because when you have Hashimoto’s, it’s not just about your thyroid... it’s about feeling like your energy has been stolen from you.

You cancel plans.
You sit on the sidelines.
You watch everyone else do the things you wish you had the energy to do.

And after a while, you start believing this exhausted version of you is just who you are.

But it’s not.

When you start supporting your body from the root—looking at things like nutrient deficiencies, blood sugar balance, gut health, stress, inflammation, and your thyroid as a whole—you can begin to rebuild your energy and feel like YOU again.

You deserve to have enough energy to enjoy your life, not just survive it. 🩷

Comment ENERGY if you’re ready to get yours back and be so busy living your life again. My messages are always personally answered by me (never automated), so if it takes me a little bit to reply, know that I’m on my way. 💌

When you walk out of the doctor’s office and they say, “Your TSH is normal, so there’s no need to check anything else…” 👀

Girl… you just don’t know.

A “normal” TSH does NOT automatically mean your thyroid is healthy.

So many women are struggling with:
✨ Fatigue
✨ Weight gain
✨ Hair loss
✨ Anxiety
✨ Brain fog
✨ Feeling like they’re not themselves anymore

…all while being told their labs are “fine.”

The problem? TSH is only one small piece of the puzzle.

A complete thyroid workup should include:
✔️ Free T4
✔️ Free T3
✔️ Thyroid antibodies (TPO & Tg antibodies)

Why are antibodies so important? Because you can have Hashimoto’s—an autoimmune thyroid disease—even when your TSH falls within the “normal” range. Identifying antibodies can help explain symptoms and give you a clearer picture of what’s actually going on and how to proceed with your care.

You deserve answers, not dismissal.

Inside my program, we talk about how to work WITH your doctor, how to advocate for yourself, and the labs to request so you can better understand your thyroid and support your body from the root.

Hi! If the algorithm brought you here…nice to meet you! It’s not wrong that you landed here but first let me tell you a bit about me!

I love to travel, eat good food/drinks, hang out with my family & friends, get my nails & hair done, & I LOVE coffee!!!! ☕️ I tried to give it up a few times thinking it would make me healthier but it just stressed me out because it brings me so much joy! Now I drink it slowly & savor every drop!

I’ve been married to my husband for almost 10 years. He is my rock & best friend (& yes, he loves the casino & singing karaoke)! I have 3 kids & 2 bonus sons, all grown & moved out now so most days you’ll find me chillin with my white lab, Albie 🐕

I love dancing & tattoos (I have 8…wish I had more) & doing anything creative.

I am NOT a doctor & never pretend to be one…I have my masters in clinical nutrition & am a Certified Nutrition Specialist. I was lucky enough to be able to pursue my passion & help other women that have Hashimoto’s heal, lose weight, & get their lives back just like I did! I myself have Hashimoto’s & have put it into remission. There was a time when I was miserable, so fatigued I couldn’t get off my couch, & freezing all the time. Now, I have lost the 50lbs I gained, have so much energy, no bloating, no brain fog, & I’m not cold!

I’m living proof you don’t have to suffer! Please give me a follow if you need some extra support, guidance, tips, & also like to have fun!!! 🩷🦋🩷
