I am always hungry. These cakes are the only things that satisfy me to the point where I get full now. God birthed this business while I was caring for my 95 year old grandma, but He didn't do it only for us. I want to share my health history before I go any further. Please read this next verse.My health journey came after 9 different medications stopped working for treating both my heart failure and being over 200 lbs with my last pregnancy. After giving birth, I was not able to get down past 186. My ejection fraction at my worst was recorded at 30% (normal is 60% to 70%). I was given a death sentence. I was told by 5 doctors to abort my youngest child because I would not survive my pregnancy (due to my heart failure); but God, who is RICH in mercy, not only healed me but made me skinnier than I have ever been in my life! And, I have energy that I've never had before. Even in 7th grade I was never a size 4, but today I am, and that's after 11 pregnancies and 9 c-sections and all my health problems many of which I haven't mentioned. I’ve had Keritosis for my entire life. My skin has never looked as good as it does today. I have not changed how much I eat- only what I eat. Today, I take no medications, I have a 66% ejection fraction, and unbelievable health and energy. In fact, my last pregnancy was by best pregnancy; according to my doctor, I was 12 pounds lighter in my 11th pregnancy than I was in my first pregnancy. I Thank God for what He has allowed me to go through or these cakes would not exist today. I also Thank God I was never a 'thin' person. If I was, I would think it may have been my 'genes'. Between what I have learned through WeightWatchers, Trim Healthy Mama, and my own research in heart failure/disease and cancer, God has enabled me to put together some cakes of which no other nutrition label can compare. My goal is to help others on their spiritual journey which should include being healthy because God only gives us 1 body. Just as I cannot pray for God to heal my marriage while I am looking at pornography, I too cannot ask God to heal my body when I am stuffing it with garbage everyday; God wants you to eat healthy. If we are sick, let’s be sick because God has allowed it (like Paul and Timothy) and not because we did it to ourselves by how poorly we manage what we put in our mouths.
