Better late than never — life at Simplicity Health has been a little busy! 🎉

We're incredibly proud to share that Dr. Opperman and Simplicity Health were nominated for the Dayton Business Journal's Business of the Year Awards for the THIRD consecutive year — and this time, Dr. Opperman was named a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year.

Think about that journey for a moment:

This recognition means the world to us, but what drives Dr. Opperman isn't the awards — it's a genuine belief that healthcare in Dayton can and should be different. Better. More human. The vision has always been to radically reimagine what a medical practice looks like for patients in this community, and we're just getting started.

Join us for Walk With a Doc this Saturday, May 9th at 11 AM at Stubbs Park!

We’ll meet at the back shelter by the pond and playground for a short talk from Dr. Opperman on how alcohol affects sleep, followed by a relaxed community walk with options for all paces and abilities.

Please arrive by 10:45 AM to check in, and register ahead of time at walkwithadoc.org/registration using Chapter #46534.

💉Dr. Wenzell's blood showing a very cloudy layer of fat emulsion the day after eating some naughty food (fast food) 🍕. He gave permission to share hoping that our patients will learn from the "seeing is believing" mantra as he has done (he now severely limits those food choices since this blood draw). The other photo shows a normal (clear,yellow plasma layer) for comparison.💉
