Did you know there's more to pelvic floor therapy than just Kegels?

Different causes need different solutions. that's why one-size-fits-all advice doesn't work. Every type needs a different plan.

Our therapists work with you to identify exactly what therapies your body needs for your specific pelvic floor issues; whether it's organ prolapse, bladder incontinence, pain with intimacy, or any other symptoms you're dealing with.

Together we come up with goals and a treatment plan tailored for your body.

When your child suffers from chronic constipation, the solution may take more than a medicating and a change in diet.

Sometimes, the pelvic floor muscles have trouble relaxing and coordinating when it’s time to have a bowel movement. And when going to the bathroom becomes difficult or uncomfortable, kids can start holding stool, which can make the cycle even harder to break.

Pelvic floor therapy can help address the mechanics behind constipation while giving parents practical strategies to support their child at home.

Reach out to learn whether pelvic floor therapy could be a helpful part of your child's care.

Endo flares are exhausting, both physically and emotionally.

These simple self-care practices won't cure endometriosis. It's more about supporting your body through it.

If your flares are frequent or intense, pelvic floor therapy can help you understand your triggers, improve mobility in the pelvis and support your body's ability to move through pain.

Pelvic floor dysfunction can contribute to digestive issues like IBS, constipation, diarrhea, bloating or even hemorrhoids.

Tight or weak pelvic floor muscles, poor coordination, or restrictions in the abdominal area can impact your gut and bowel function.

At Flourish Pelvic Therapy, we can assess how your pelvic floor muscles are working together...or not, identify tension or weakness, and help you develop a plan tailored to your body.

Many women expect that once they’re cleared after a hysterectomy, recovery is complete. Yet their body doesn't feel the same as it did before.

There's a reason for that: our organs begin to shift around when the uterus and it's ligaments are removed. Your core needs time and training to re-engage.

This can cause a lower belly pooch, heaviness, or discomfort.

If you're experiencing this, be sure to reach out to us at Pelvic Floor Therapy to schedule your consultation today. https://flourishpelvictherapy.janeapp.com/

We can help you rebuild strength from the inside out.

"Do you find yourself going to the bathroom “just in case”, even when you don’t really need to?

It might feel like a safe habit, but over time, it can actually train your bladder to be overly sensitive.

When your bladder empties at only 30–50% full, it starts signaling your brain to go more frequently. Before you know it, bathroom trips every hour (or more) feel normal.

Good bladder habits are about listening to your body and allowing your bladder to fill appropriately. Pelvic floor therapy can help you retrain your bladder, reduce urgency, and restore control.

Message us today to learn how to retrain your bladder safely and effectively.

Pelvic floor dysfunction doesn't always mean you have a weak pelvic floor.

Some people can experience both a weak pelvic floor alongside tension. The challenge is that sometimes the symptoms overlap.

That's why proper evaluation matters.

Pelvic floor therapy helps identify what's happening with your muscles so treatment can be tailored to YOUR body's needs. The right treatment starts with understanding the root cause.

If you're experiencing any of the symptoms in the graphic, our pelvic floor therapists can help determine what your body needs and create a plan designed for you. Reach out today!

A weak pelvic floor affects more than just bladder control.
Your pelvic floor muscles are a hammock at the base of your pelvis, supporting your bladder, bowel, reproductive organs, and even contributing to hip and low back stability.

Weakness can lead to:
• Urinary urgency or leaks
• Difficulty reaching the toilet in time
• Trouble emptying bladder or bowels fully
• Pelvic heaviness or prolapse symptoms
• Bowel leakage or flatulence
• Hip or lower back discomfort

If any of these symptoms sound familiar, pelvic floor physical therapy may be able to help. Reach out to schedule an evaluation and find out what’s really causing your symptoms.
