A sweet surprise for our VivaVet team! 🍩

Foxwood Kennels & Apple Creek Kennel spoiled us today with a delicious assortment of donuts from Hill Top Bakery as a thank-you for always being there when they need us.

We’re so grateful for the wonderful relationships we’ve built with our local kennels and for the trust they place in our team to care for their four-legged friends. It means so much to us!

Thank you, Foxwood Kennels & Apple Creek Kennels, for thinking of our team and for the very sweet treat! 💙🩵🩶

Holy cats! 😳 Take a look at BooBoo’s X-ray and the bladder stone Dr. Theresa removed today!

BooBoo, a sweet Puggle, was in today for a cystotomy, a surgical procedure to remove stones from the bladder. And WOW… that is one BIG bladder stone! 🪨

For a small dog like BooBoo, this stone was absolutely giant! Dr. Theresa successfully removed it, and BooBoo is now on the road to recovery.

Bladder stones can develop when minerals in the urine form crystals that gradually grow into stones. Some dogs may show signs such as frequent urination, straining to urinate, blood in the urine, accidents in the house, or discomfort. In some cases, they can become a serious urinary obstruction.

We’re so happy we could help BooBoo get this big stone out and get her feeling better! 💙🩵🩶

Friday Evening Fun at VivaVet!

Sometimes, veterinary medicine means staying a little later than planned! ♥️

Fiona needed a helping hand bringing one of her puppies into the world, so Dr. Theresa and our dedicated VivaVet team stayed late today to make sure mom and her little ones got the care they needed.

We’re wishing Fiona the very best as she settles in with her two new bundles of joy! Welcome to the world, little ones!

We’re always happy to go the extra mile for our patients and their families. 💙🩵🩶

Isn’t Hank the most handsome red Lab?

Hank was here at VivaVet for his annual wellness exam, vaccines, and his Bravecto Quantum injection to help protect him against fleas and ticks for a full year!

Red Labrador Retrievers are known for their beautiful reddish coats, friendly personalities, intelligence, and love of being around their people.

We’re so happy Hank came to see us and help us show off just how handsome a healthy Lab can be! 💙🩵🩶

Howie was a very good boy at his puppy visit today! 🖤

He stayed busy licking peanut butter while receiving his puppy vaccines. A pretty great distraction if you ask us!

Howie is a Labrador Retriever, a breed known for being friendly, intelligent, loyal, and eager to please. Labs are wonderful family dogs and are often happiest when they have a job to do, whether that’s retrieving, learning new tricks, swimming, hiking, or simply spending time with their people. They’re also known for their playful, outgoing personalities and, of course, their love of food!

With their intelligence and enthusiasm, Labs thrive on training, exercise, socialization, and plenty of interaction with their families.

Keep growing, Howie! We can’t wait to watch you grow into the handsome Lab you’re meant to be! 💙🩵🩶
