HealthCARE Express was founded in January 2006 in Texarkana, Texas, with our first clinic located on Richmond Road. Since then, we have grown to serve communities across Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Today, HealthCARE Express owns and operates 15 urgent care clinics, along with specialty clinics including Age Management, Imaging, and Occupational Medicine. Over the years, HealthCARE Ex

press has focused on developing a strong foundation to support our growing organization. We have built our own billing, marketing, and staffing programs, creating systems that are unique within the industry and provide us with a competitive advantage. In 2014, we completed a 16,000-square-foot expansion of our original Texarkana facility, allowing us to further expand our imaging and occupational medicine services. We pride ourselves on staying true to our core values and purpose—so much so that they are even displayed on our name tags! Internally, we are committed to providing amazing customer service, financial success, an awesome place to work, and great medical care. Our purpose is simple: to serve our communities, provide a WOWZA experience for our patients and customers, and leave a legacy of leaders. Today we had the honor of touring Texarkana Resources for the Disabled — a place that's been changing lives in our community for over 60 years. 💙

We got to see their team hard at work — assembling, packaging, sorting, woodworking, and so much more — learning new skills and taking real pride in what they do every single day. Some have been part of this family for 40+ years! 🙌

We're proud to handle their workers' comp and take care of the people who give so much back to our community.

Meet this week's Champion of Excellent Healthcare — Marcy Shelley.

Marcy works in our Imaging department, and she's been part of the HCE family for years. Ask anyone who's worked a shift with her and you'll hear the same thing: great attitude, always helpful, and genuinely kind to every patient who comes through.

Our exec team shouted her out for exactly that — the warmth and customer service she brings to people on what's often not their best day.

Hearing loss on the job doesn't happen all at once. It creeps in so slowly that by the time someone notices, it's usually permanent.
