Think outside the box, heal within yourself! Hypnotherapy may not be a mainstream approach to treating issues, but it is one of the most effective approaches. Growing up we are bombarded with information that comes at us when we are not developed enough to interpret it accurately. Some of those misinterpretations lead to false beliefs about ourselves which become embedded into our subconscious minds and lay the groundwork for our personalities. We may believe things like "I am an anxious person," or "I am not smart enough". Hypnotherapy is an amazing intervention that can literally access the subconscious to reframe these limiting beliefs with information that is resourceful and can transform lives. I hold a Master's degree in psychology with over ten years of experience. My training in hypnotherapy has afforded me the opportunity to incorporate therapy on both the subconscious and conscious levels. This has resulted in unprecedented successes for my clients at significantly quicker rates than that of traditional therapy alone. Energy hygiene matters to me just as much as keeping a space physically clean.
I placed small cups of vinegar and salt throughout Evolution as a traditional energy-cleansing practice. Salt has long been used symbolically for purification and protection, while vinegar is traditionally used to help clear and refresh the energy of a space.
When people come here, they bring real things with them—stress, grief, fear, breakthroughs, releases, healing. I want Evolution to be a place where you can walk in and actually feel the difference.

One of my favorite things is watching someone experience AcuDetox for the first time and immediately understand why people love it. 🤍

We were at the Better Health health fair when this client decided to try our 5-point ear acupuncture protocol—and her reaction says it all.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the ear is viewed almost like an upside-down fetus, with different areas of the ear corresponding to different parts and functions of the body. AcuDetox uses five specific points: Shen Men, Sympathetic/Nervous System, Kidney, Liver, and Lung.

These points are traditionally used to help move stagnant qi, support the body’s natural detoxification pathways, calm the nervous system, and encourage a deeper sense of balance and relaxation.

We spend so much of life working hard to create a life that feels rich.

And today, this felt rich.

A massage on the rooftop, warm sun, a perfect breeze, cicadas in the background, birds all around me, and nowhere I needed to be except right there.

That kind of moment is the whole point for me. To work hard, yes, but also to actually enjoy the life I’m working so hard to build.

Treat yourself. Make room for experiences that make you feel alive, present, and grateful to be exactly where you are.

I think we underestimate what happens to us when we move our bodies in nature.

There’s something about having your bare feet on the ground, breathing fresh air, watching the trees move and hearing the water nearby that changes the way you feel in your own body.

Yoga has always felt different to me than exercise alone. Of course there is a physical benefit to moving, stretching, strengthening and creating better mobility, but when breath and movement begin working together, something else happens too. Your nervous system starts to settle and your attention naturally comes back into your body.

That is where yoga becomes more than movement for me.

There is a spiritual component to being fully present in your body while surrounded by nature. You become more aware of your breath, more aware of the earth beneath you and more connected to the rhythm of what is happening around you. There is a reason we feel different after spending time this way.

Movement is medicine, but when movement becomes intentional, it can become something even deeper.

It becomes a way back to yourself.

On my way to work, I heard this little guy making all kinds of noise in my breezeway and realized he was stuck upside down and struggling.

So of course I stopped to help him.

I couldn’t figure out how to flip him, so I pulled a $100 gift card out of my purse and decided that was apparently now my emergency cicada rescue tool. 😂

It was way more frustrating than it should have been trying to save something that seemed completely uncooperative, but I was not giving up on him.

I guess that’s tough love in its purest form.
Compassion can look peaceful and graceful.
Or it can look like yelling at a cicada with a gift card before work. 🤣

Apparently this is my love language.😆
