Orchesis is a student-lead group that typically settles into the contemporary, modern, or jazz aesthetics of dance. However, the members of our group are well aware and completely acknowledge that any style of dance can be explored, choreographed, and taught to them throughout the duration of the year. The group typically performs at on-campus events such as BTQ Talent Show, BOMB, and Fall Fest.

Each spring, the group hosts their annual showcase in which they perform all the dances that they have worked on throughout year as well as any solo, duet, or small group routines group members have created. The showcase is a great way for friends and family to witness what Orchesis has worked on all year long! Auditions for Orchesis are held each fall and are open to all.
