Most gyms are built on a single, flawed assumption: that every brain processes a workout the same way.

But if you’re neurodivergent, the "standard" gym experience is often uncomfortable. The music is too loud, the instructions are buried in fitness jargon, and you’re expected to keep up with transitions that don't give you time to process.

When a coach doesn't know how to adapt, it's easy to walk out the door believing you just "aren't a gym person."

In reality, the gym simply wasn't built for you.

At Inclusive Fitness®, we flipped the script. Adaptive coaching removes the sensory and cognitive barriers that hold people back. We make sure the gym is a tool for your success, not another obstacle.

We don’t always think about the origin of the word “milestones.” But after seeing so many Milestone Certificates hung in both centers this week, I’ve been reflecting on its history.

Originally, milestones were large stones placed along ancient roads to help travelers mark long, slow journeys. Without modern navigation, these physical markers, along with familiar landscape sights, were all voyagers had to go by. They were proof of how far someone had gone, and reassurance that they were still on the right path.

At Inclusive Fitness®, our milestones serve a similar purpose. The road to building strength, skills, and confidence is long and unfamiliar to some. When you are in the middle of the day-to-day, it can be easy to lose your bearings and forget just how far you've actually come.

That is exactly why we celebrate our athletes' milestones. Those certificates on our walls are the physical markers on our athletes' journeys. They give us a collective moment to pause, look back, and measure the incredible distance traveled... the heavier lifts, the new skills, and the confidence that has been built mile after mile—er, session after session!

Looking at these photos of Elias side by side, you can see exactly what it means to mark your way. For Elias, hitting 200 sessions is a massive marker on his path, representing years of showing up and consistently moving forward.

Congratulations, Elias. We are so proud of how far you've come, and we can't wait to see where the road leads next!

💥 BIG milestones and bigger smiles! Our athletes have been absolutely crushing their goals lately. Check out these incredible shoutouts:

175 for Miguel! His split squat form is excellent, and he recently added strict pull-ups to his program!!

An incredible 225 for Jen! Her growth has been nothing short of inspiring. She has built impressive strength and endurance over time, consistently showing up, pushing herself, and proving what dedication and hard work can achieve.

Maddy hits 175!! Today’s workout included lateral deficit squats… amazing progressions in her program!

Greg Fahrner reached 10 sessions! Gregory came to IF looking to develop overall strength and endurance to better prepare him to play his favorite sport, quadball. Gregory’s attitude and work ethic have helped him continue to increase his repetitions and develop incredible form on his goblet squats.

Whether it’s session #10 or session #225, these athletes make it look easy! Drop some 👏 in the comments to celebrate their hard work!
