One year of commitment… 🌿

This time last year my skin was mad. I was breaking out a lot, I was oily and dehydrated at the same time, I developed this weird texture and I had dark spots galore from stress picking. 😬… It sucked, but if I’m honest, I didn’t give a s**t or have the capacity to care about what my skin looked like at that time, which is evident in the top picture.

Once I started inching out of the thick of it, I went back to the basics and kept my plan simple:

Personally… this season was very hard for me, and tonight, this full moon was a beautiful reminder to honor myself and the person I needed to become this past year.

With tear-filled eyes, I stand proudly in a light I created for myself.

I often mourn the version of me who struggled to get here. The long nights, the therapy, the tears, the moments of having to find strength when I felt like I had none left…

But I also know my mother’s strength was moving through me while I searched for the courage to survive the worst day of my life, and all of the hardest moments that followed when no one was watching.

I know she would have been so proud of me.

It is a privilege and an honor to stand in the place I created for myself, for my business, my marriage and my career this year.

To some, it’s just some spiritual “woo woo” hippie s**t over a full moon…

But for some of us, it’s a reminder that we’ve survived things we never thought we could, to continue working towards our goals and being very selective about what we do with our time.

Cheers to us, the love between us and the people beside us. 🌕
