Meet Boone. 🐾
This is a story from the Step Above archives — and one we think deserves to be told again.
Boone was a 6-year-old German Shepherd who underwent a total hip replacement after suffering from severe hip dysplasia.
At the time, Boone’s surgical team reported that a typical six-month recovery period had been shortened to approximately three months. He returned to normal activity, and his follow-up X-rays showed strong bone growth around his implant.
His team credited Boone’s physical condition — along with gelatin supplementation to support strong bones and connective tissue — as contributing factors in his recovery.
And those pictures aren't stock photography.
That's Boone. That's his X-ray. That's his story. ❤️
The product may look a little different today, but more than a decade later, the idea behind it hasn't changed:
Help support the dogs we love so they can keep doing the things they love.
