Just a little bit about me...I used to hide from who I was because people that didn't know me called me crazy and all those other negative words... I didn't have to prove my worth or my ability to anyone...this gift isn't for my personal pleasure or a game. I feel the pain of others and I feel the pain of those that have passed...including animals...
When I meet new people and tell them who I am and what I do... it scares them! They assume I can read minds. YIKES!!!That would be no fun at all...I cannot read minds. I am not always talking to people no one else can see. I am just me!!!! I love fast cars and motorcycles. I love to dance like no one is watching. I listen to bands and enjoy a drink. Laughing out loud I choose over crying...but sometimes I laugh so hard I cry!!!!

Reiki: Its Role in Treating Autoimmune Diseases
Autoimmune diseases can affect people of any age or background. When these diseases develop, the symptoms range from mild to debilitating, often reducing the quality of life for the sufferer. Depending on the disease, a number of different treatments may exist. However, regardless of the nature of the autoimmune condition, individuals suffering with these diseases may also benefit from an alternative therapy known as “Reiki.”
Understanding Autoimmune Diseases
Autoimmune diseases occur when the immune system malfunctions. The purpose of the immune system is to protect the body from invaders that may be harmful, such as viruses and bacteria. However, in some cases, the immune system has trouble discerning the difference between foreign materials and the body’s own tissues. When this occurs, the immune system may mistakenly attack the body’s own tissues, which leads to the development of autoimmune diseases. Examples of common autoimmune diseases include celiac disease, Grave’s disease, Type I diabetes, multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease and rheumatoid arthritis. In many cases, these diseases must be managed with ongoing medical treatments.

I love animals! Reiki for rescue pets has become very important to me... When a pet comes to your home or rescue home they are no different than you or I being placed in a home after abuse of any sort. My interactions with rescues is an amazing journey based on love and respect... clearing them of past trauma...We all deserve a life of love and respect regardless of our species.
