Connected Horsemanship Weekend review From Paula Ferguson.

I had specifically sought out Paul Amoroso after some research on equine assisted Reiki.

I asked if he might create my own individual experience over a weekend filled with the healing modalities that he offers, and some other opportunities to work with horses that might be available.

I wanted to experience equine delivered Reiki, some of the connected riding training/coaching if available, and some riding time with coaching.

I was also looking for guidance with my general interaction, handling, grooming, other horse care, and understanding ways to improve my “communication” skills with horses, all while immersed in this holistic approach.

Paul had never had a request, quite like mine. But he was willing to give it a shot and got to work laying out an “equine retreat”.

I was taught the basics of groundwork with a horse in a round pen.
How to ground myself and “adjust” my energy before asking a horse to connect with me to share Reiki.

I had the most beautiful Reiki encounter with a lovely little mare. That proved to be quite a deep connection, and the “messages” I received were definitely Divinely transmitted through her.

Paul knew how much I was drawn to the draft mix breeds, and arranged an excursion to help “work” a team of Percheron's to get them ready for wagon rides for veterans and their families.

All the work of the weekend culminated with some energetically connected groundwork and riding with the beautiful mare, Pinnacle. She was the horse that so deeply shared reiki with me the day before.

He took all the facets of the experiences I was looking for.

He created an itinerary for the weekend of learning experience, growth, healing, and confidence building work based upon the disciplines and energy work practices that he has studied and learned under some of the most spiritually developed/connected mentors.

The weekend met all my expectations and then some. Every box on my list was ticked, and my soul was renewed and so touched by the entire experience.

Join host Paul Amoroso at the Equine Energywork Academy for a special hands-on class focused on using Reiki with animals — primarily horses, but dogs will be included as well.

This is NOT a standard Reiki certification class.

We are looking for a skid steer to help with the heavy lifting on the farm. The one company had their salesman Bruno call. I told Maryann we will have to get a new salesman since. We dont talk about Bruno in this house....

Doing some equine therapy with a youth.
This was a moving mediation treatment. After the calm set in from breathing exercises. We continued to walk and do the deep breathing. To continue that state of calm while moving.

Certified Equine Adjuster through Dr Daniel Kamen’s classes.

Multiple energy healing styles Reiki, Qi Gong, etc.

Reiki master teacher – Senior instructor at Equine energy work academy.

Traveled with and assisted Veterinarian. Dr. Ronald Anders DVM, CVA, CCRP. With his clientele when he couldn’t do the heavy therapy work himself. He treated most of his patients with traditional Chinese medicine, along with chiropractic adjustments.

I do local treatments at your barn for horses that are off or sore.

We also provide healing work for abused and traumatized horses.
For horses that need extensive therapy I have stalls available at my barn. We board them and do multiple treatments.

Abused - traumatized horses need extensive treatments to help them out of past trauma’s and fears. That work can only be done at our farm.

This announcement Is about My friend Dr Ronald Anders. I traveled with him on occasion and helped him with the animal adjustments when he couldn't do them.

As many of you know, Dr. Anders was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma which spread to his liver and spleen in April. He went through many rounds of chemo-therapy and we were all optimistic that he would be back with us once he was strong again since he was able to become cancer free.

However, over the past week his health has deteriorated and was found that there has been too much damage done to his liver and his liver is shutting down. His wife, children, and his doctor’s all weighed options for the best care of Dr. Anders and they made the very hard and tough decision to switch his care to Hospice.
Even during his last days with us he continues to talk about working on cattle, horses, dogs, and cats so please take heart that you were all still on his mind. We all knew that he would work until he was not able to anymore. We ask in this time you all pray for a peaceful passing and we will keep you updated with any information.

In the meantime, we will still be working with relief vets. Please bear with us during this time as we transition into a new veterinarian coming in and buying the practice. We will try our best to accommodate you and your beloved pets on the days we have our relief vets until we have a full time veterinarian again.

After the Covid-19 pandemic is over, Bev and her children will be having a celebration of life in memory of Dr. Ronald Anders. We ask that you all come in attendance to share the stories of how Dr. Anders touched your life and so his children and grandchildren can meet the people that he spoke about often. We will let you know the date of the celebration at a later time.

We would all like to thank-you for your support during this difficult time.
