Day 1 is complete! 16.4 miles of grueling hills and unrelenting heat. Big shoutout to the hundreds of cars that honked, yelled, waved, and even tossed out gifts along the way. Thank you to the police in chesterfield for keeping us safe. Tonight we stay in Keene,NH and tomorrow gets even harder. Tomorrow will be hotter and longer but we will get through this one step at a time, we WILL “Keep Pushing” 16 miles down and 140 more to go!

They are off!!! Best of luck to the guys!

Well here we go.

The hardest challenge mentally and physically begins now. My best friend Kris of 30 years and I are embarking on a journey that will bring us from Vermont to Maine. Kris was in a bad car accident in 2017 and suffered a traumatic brain injury that has altered his life forever. This journey is to give him a refined purpose on life and for us to finally do something impactful together. Over the next 7 days we will run/walk/jog/crawl over 150 miles ( essentially 6 marathons) together. I will be pushing Kris and the wheelchair (totaling 215 pounds) the entire way. I hope you follow our journey this week and cheer us on. We will need it. The journey begins NOW.
