There’s something really beautiful about lip filler when the goal isn’t to change someone’s lips, but to bring out the shape that was already there.

For this patient, I focused on creating a little more height and definition through the upper lip while adding enough volume to the lower lip to keep everything soft and proportional. Lip filler isn’t just about how much product we use. Placement, anatomy, projection, border definition, and the relationship between the upper and lower lip all matter when I’m deciding where each small amount of filler should go.

I know getting lip filler can come with that little voice in the back of your head wondering, “What if I don’t look like myself?” That’s exactly why I approach lips so intentionally. I want you to notice the difference, feel excited when you look in the mirror, and still feel completely like you. 💉🤍

You don’t need to walk into your appointment knowing exactly what treatment you need. That’s my job. 🤍

Sometimes the area you’re focused on isn’t actually the area we need to treat to create the result you want. A full-face assessment helps me look at your proportions, movement, volume and overall balance so we can build a treatment plan that makes sense for your face, not just follow a trend or add product where you think you need it. The goal is always thoughtful treatment, not more treatment. 💉

Lip filler isn’t always about making the lips look bigger. Sometimes, it’s about making them look more balanced. 💉✨

When I assess the lips, I’m looking at things like upper-to-lower lip proportions, projection, symmetry, border definition, and how the lips relate to the chin and the rest of the profile. Strategic placement of filler can add support where it’s needed, soften asymmetries, and create a more harmonious shape without simply adding volume everywhere.

The goal is never to follow one “perfect” lip ratio. It’s to work with your natural anatomy and create a result that feels balanced on your face. 🤍

Hilary Duff is currently trending for all the right reasons. Her transformation as an artist has been so fun to watch and as an injector, I couldn’t help but notice her facial glow up as well! Loving what she’s done. She’s a great example of what good filler and other facial treatments can do! But honestly, no matter what she’ll always be Lizzie McGuire to me 🥹🤎

Chin filler is one of those treatments where a relatively small amount of product can influence the balance of the entire face. It’s not always about making the chin look “bigger.” It’s about improving projection, proportion, and the relationship between the chin, lips, nose, and jawline.

When I assess the chin, I’m looking at much more than the chin itself. I consider the patient’s profile, facial thirds, natural bone structure, soft tissue, lip projection, mandibular contour, and how the lower face relates to the midface. When the chin is slightly recessed or lacks projection, other features can appear more prominent by comparison. Strategically placed filler can bring the lower face forward, create a smoother transition into the jawline, and give the profile a more proportionate appearance.

That’s why facial balancing is so individualized. The goal isn’t to give everyone the same chin shape or follow a perfect mathematical ratio. It’s to identify where subtle structural support can enhance your existing anatomy. In this before and after, notice how your eye isn’t necessarily drawn straight to the chin. Instead, the entire profile simply feels more balanced. That’s exactly the point. ✨

If you’ve been thinking, “My Botox just doesn’t last like it used to,” you’re definitely not the only one. It’s one of the most common conversations I have with patients. Before assuming you’ve built up a resistance, it’s important to know there are several other factors that could be contributing. Changes in muscle strength, facial anatomy, treatment goals, dosing, and even the neurotoxin being used can all affect how your results feel over time.

This is exactly why I reassess your treatment at every appointment instead of repeating the same plan over and over. Sometimes all it takes is a small adjustment to your dose, injection pattern, or even switching neurotoxins to get you back to the results you’re used to. Botox should evolve with you because your face does too.💉
