What if today is the day that your life changes?

What if today is the day you find the job listing? What if today is the day you meet a soulmate? What if today is the day you book the flight? What if today is the day you end your lease? What if today is the day you say goodbye? What if today is the day you make a mark on the calendar and decide? What if today is the day you have a breakthrough? What if today is the day that changes your life forever?

It is not as impossible as it all seems, because anything, and everything, that has come to assume a permanent and ordinary place within our lives arrived to us on what was otherwise just an ordinary day.

When we come to understand that any given moment is a portal of opportunity, we change the way we live forever. Rather than thinking of how to get through the day, we think about how to make the most of it. Rather than looking for the ways out, we look for the ways through. Rather than just trying to get by, we realize that we are never more stuck than within our own minds, within our own future projections that assume we know all that will come, all that will be.

When you learn to live at the cusp of your potentiality, you come to find that the sparks of change are igniting all through every hour of every day.

The doorways were always there.

I think midlife is when the universe gently places her hands upon your shoulders, pulls you close, and whispers in your ear:
