To Our Loyal and Loving Clients,
It is with DEEP SADNESS and a VERY HEAVY HEART that I inform you that Lake City Tattoo has closed it's doors for good. I can't thank you all enough for the undying love and support we have received for nearly 30 years. Without all of that love and support over the years Lake City Tattoo simply would not have held the reins for such an extensive period of time. There have been so many thoughtful and touching memories, whether involving clients or artists, created at the studio that will live on forever. The studio has supported countless talented artists and their families over the years and they are forever grateful. One of the most important aspects as a business owner, no matter the business, is to have the awareness to decipher when enough has been enough. I have been dealing with a multitude of personal conflicts involving personal health, death in the family, and financial imbalance due to relocation and the financial effects of the pandemic. Juggling personal issues such as these and not having the time and energy necessary to devote to running a business had not only become a burden to the business but a deep strain on my mental health and well being. As stated previously, it is important to be aware of when it is time to relieve not only yourself from those burdens, but those that have been affected on the other end of that aspect. Anyone who has personally endeavored on the journey of owning and operating their own business will have a great understanding of the toll it takes on the mind, body, and soul to do so. This does not mark the end of the road for me on my very extensive tattoo journey, but a beautiful new beginning. After taking a short break, I will continue to tattoo part time for a very dear friend of mine where it all began, in Rockford, Illinois. If anyone would like to continue to have work done by me in the future I will soon be available to do so. As previously stated, I will continue to work part time at Tattoo Bobs on Forest Hills in Rockford, IL.
Again, Thank you all so very much for your understanding and for supporting my dream over the years and I wish you all the best in the future!
If you have any questions, well wishes, or to reach out for future work please contact me at 262-325-6030.
XOXO,
Kristy
