Who says book clubs have to meet indoors? In this installment of Community Corner, Associate Editor Emily Melvin joins the Rambling Readers, a unique book club hosted by Washington Township’s Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library.
Led by librarian Jenn Smith, the group takes its love of reading outdoors with monthly walks through Washington Lake Park. There’s no assigned reading, no pressure and plenty of conversation about books, nature and life. 🌳📖

🚶♀️ Want to join the conversation? The final walks of 2026 are Oct. 30 and Nov. 20 at 3 p.m.
