✨ A Heartfelt Thank You from Squid’s Ink Parlor! ✨

We’re still on cloud nine after yesterday’s open house, and we just have to share our gratitude for everyone who made it all possible. 💫

First, a massive thank you to my husband, who truly worked hands-down the most to bring this dream to life. And to our kids, who have been so supportive and patient through all the chaos—this truly has been a family effort, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to all the incredible folks who helped build our new home. Concrete Solutions nailed the concrete work, Masson Site Services handled our septic and site prep like pros, and Jane M Contracting Services were the MVPs of pulling it all together.

A special thanks to Coyote for the dirt, stone hauling, and grading that gave us a solid foundation, and my cousin Zach for all the hard work and lifting heavy stuff.

We can’t forget Adam Demoe, who set the perfect mood with his acoustic guitar, and my amazing mother-in-law for her legendary white chicken chili that everyone loved.

And of course, to our talented artists and the wonderful clients who showed up and made the studio feel like home from day one—you are the heart of Squid’s Ink. Here’s to many more memories together in our new space! 🦑

Squid’s Ink Parlor is now licensed, inspected, and OPEN in Delta!
I’ve already done 3 tattoos in the new studio and it feels so surreal.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported us through the move, build, and transition — this next chapter is going to be amazing. 🖤

✨ A Proud Moment ✨
Today I get to celebrate something truly special — my apprentice Aurora “Rory” is officially a Tattoo Artist! 🖤

From day one at Squid’s Ink Parlor, Rory brought heart, hustle, and a quiet determination that’s impossible not to admire. Watching them grow through every challenge, mastering the craft, and finding their voice as an artist has been one of the greatest honors of my career.

Mentorship is a sacred thing — and Rory made it easy to give, because they soaked up every bit of knowledge with gratitude, grace, and grit. It’s rare to meet a soul as kind, humble, and hardworking as Rory. I’m endlessly proud and thankful to have shared this journey with someone so deserving.

Though the apprentice chapter is closed, the next one is just beginning — and I couldn’t be more excited to see what Rory creates next. 🌱 They’re staying on with us at Squid’s Ink Parlor as a resident artist and are now booking new clients for bold, meaningful work.

This tattoo family means everything to me. Rory, I love you and I’m so proud of you. Let’s keep creating magic. 💫
