Executive Satpal Sidhu for his leadership in taking steps to strengthen the County’s role in co-management of state forest lands, and urge him to ask the Dept. of Natural Resources to pause timber sales containing mature forest while two planning groups complete their recommendations.

You can urge Whatcom County Executive Satpal Sidhu to ask that DNR pause timber sales containing mature forest while forestry planning groups complete their recommendations in the coming months — and thank Sidhu for his leadership in taking steps to strengthen Whatcom’s role in co-management of state forest lands.
