A powerful ceremony when the Buddha and Ascended Masters gather in the Himalayan Mountains.
I personally have celebrated the Wesak Festival for over 20 years.
The Festival of Wesak is the Festival of the Buddha, the spiritual intermediary between the highest spiritual centre, Shamballa, and the Hierarchy. The Buddha is the expression of the wisdom of God, the embodiment of light and the indicator of divine purpose. This Festival is fixed annually in relation to the full moon of May; it is the great Eastern Festival.

Today is Easter Sunday and I'm spending the day in quiet reflection. I started by listening to my son, Bennett Poinsett's music on You Tube remembering his passing in 1997. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riGqOmJrWqs
Then I thought of my husband who passed in 2006. He always told me he would give me a signal he was "around" if I saw a White Heron on the lake where we live.
So, I listened to Bennett's music and then walked out on the deck and was stunned to see a White Heron gliding over the lake, landing on the upper bank. I quickly went out to capture a picture, luckily I did!
So within 10 minutes they both let me know they were here for me. Amazing, just amazing.

I am honored to be a member of the American Hypnosis Association from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute for over 25 years. As I renewed my membership today it reminded me of how wonderful it is to help so many people in my Hypnotherapy Practice.

In 1997, Rev. Dr. Betsie H. Poinsett experienced something no parent should have to - the death of her only child, her 21-year-old "Indigo" son, Bennett. Throughout his short life he seemed to walk to the beat of a different drummer. As Betsie would awaken in the middle of the night with feelings of helplessness, knowing that his behavior was spiraling out of control, the only thing she could do in those wee dark hours would be to go to her computer and start writing to relieve her fears. Thus, Mothers Who Cry in the Night, originated. It takes the reader through those long lonely nights, giving them strategies to turn these out of control feelings around, and to learn how to rebuild themselves to understand that God and Love are the foundation that they can constantly return to when these dark nights of the soul envelope them.

I woke up this morning having to ponder on some things that were weighing on me. I asked for a sign to help me.......as I looked out at the lake everything was mirrored in the water. The message: Everything is an illusion!!!!!! A great reminder that lifted those worries off my shoulders!
