ICYMI: Choptank Community Health System joined the Kent County Chamber of Commerce, community leaders, and partners on Sept. 22 for an open house and ribbon-cutting at its expanded Chestertown Health Center. The gathering highlighted a growing team and greater access to medical, dental, and behavioral health care for Kent County residents.

More care, closer to students. Choptank Community Health System is expanding school-based services with two new providers!

Kaitlin Connor, LMSW, provides behavioral health care at Sudlersville Elementary and Middle schools. Caitlin Hohenstein, RDH, joins our school-based dental program serving students in Kent and Queen Anne’s counties.

Both help students get care where they learn, making access easier for families.

Choptank Community Health System welcomed Maryland Department of Health Secretary Dr. Meena Seshamani on Sept. 30 to our Denton Health Center and Denton Elementary School's School-Based Health Center, including a tour of our Mobile Health Unit.

Our teams shared how integrated medical, dental, behavioral health, and prenatal services help address rural health care access across Maryland’s Mid-Shore.
