Beauty. A flower does not try to beautiful. It just grows and blossoms. I come along and have gratitude for the amazing gift of this flower merely doing its job. Do you take time to stop or at least pause or gaze and take time to have gratitude for someone, or something? Understanding the vṛtti and the kleśa and tools to become aware of when they "step in to take over" can help us live in the moment. In this workshop, our goal will be to learn about and then explore tools to help us pause and observe the mind. Then the Self can take control of our life!

The first line of the Gāyatrī ends with vidmahe, to "meditate or dwell on."
The second line ends with dhīmahe, to "honor the divine attribute."
The third line pracodayāt, illuminate.
Every time we chant a Gāyatrī, we are guiding our mind to meditate, honor and illuminate our life.

Here I am with Rama’s book based on her time-tested use of the Yoga Sutra for International Conflict Resolution Summits. Many times, Rama and Max met with international leaders and was able to get them to move beyond differences by reminding them of their similarities. Essentially, we are all pilgrims on a path of love! We may practice the journey differently, but destroying another country does not give one an end game.
Rama took this message and taught conflict resolution for many years for ALL OF US to use in our daily life. Come explore her basic concepts with me.

Our body just wants us to be comfortable. It protects. It adapts. And, in doing so, it becomes a communicator of how we "survive" in life.
