I’ve worked with a handful of individuals that felt uneasy about journaling until they actually tried it.

Journaling is a helpful tool for processing the things floating in our head, resolving difficult situations, and even connecting with a flow state of creativity.

If you are uneasy with starting a journaling practice, it may be helpful to start by simply tracking something.

A habit you have, a reoccurring feeling or thought, triggers or cravings, the highlights of your day, gratitude, mood - something.

Start with the object facts and then write a couple sentences reflecting on that information.

This can be an excellent way to learn more about yourself and open the door to this powerful practice.

Hi hi.

If we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting -

I’m Jelsy.

I am a Nationally Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBHWC) with a degree in Health Sciences. I also host monthly wellness event in Denver, CO.

When I was at my lowest with mental health, taking care of my physical health helped me crawl out of the hole I was hiding in.

I finally had a moment where I felt “okay” and decided that I wanted to help as many people as I could feel that way.

Now, I’ve experienced so many shades of feelings better than okay and I want to share that too.

So, I got into coaching - I work for a wellness company that provides customized wellness programs to businesses aka I get to coach hundreds of employees from different companies on health and wellness 40 hours per week. My dream!

I also started hosting wellness events and getting into the retreat space to continue to spread my reach.

I want to help people step out of their comfort zone so they can enhance their human experience through health, wellness, and self love.

Just a reminder to save the money and book the trip.

I went to Costa Rica last year with a group of 40 used to be strangers and it was one of the best memories of my life.

I booked the trip in 2019 having one of those “I could die tomorrow” thoughts and finally went in 2023.

You don’t need an excuse, just a desire.

I get overwhelmed by the amount of content that can be consumed on social media in so little time and by the way it impacts our dopamine and how intelligent the algorithm is and the psychology that goes into marketing.

I stay here to share my wellness circles and retreats, but get swept up in the noise too.

The content I desire to share is best received in-person or over the phone. Maybe over a meditation and a sound bath. Or a trip to the farmers market or a cozy movie night.

I’m coming to you online, to share that my “content” is available in-person.

It’s crucial that we create community and take care of our mental/physical health for ourselves and society. This is something I’m passionate about sharing.
