Your cells are literally starving for light.

Red light therapy isn’t a wellness trend — it’s science backed by decades of research. Here’s what it’s actually doing for your body:

✨ Boosts mitochondrial function — more cellular energy (ATP), less fatigue
🔥 Reduces inflammation — at the root, not just the symptoms
💪 Speeds muscle recovery — used by elite athletes for a reason
🧖 Supports collagen production — firmer skin, faster wound healing
🧠 Improves sleep + mood — by supporting circadian rhythm regulation

The wavelengths (typically 630–850nm) pe*****te deep into tissue, triggering real biological change — not just surface-level results.

Your body was designed to respond to light. We’ve just forgotten how to use it. 💡

💬 Have you tried red light therapy? If not, come get an IV with us Denver and get some red light with it!

Something I’m very focused on/passionate about with practicing medicine is getting BACK TO BASICS.

I was just connecting with a holistic dentist in town this week, and we were talking about how vital it is you get the foundations down before anything else when it comes to health.

I have so many people come to me who have already done MANY expensive tests, and are still scratching their head looking for answers.

And then we look at basic nutritional markers, and lo and behold they feel terrible because they have little to no iron stores. Low vitamin D. Suboptimal B12. When asked about their habits, they overwork. They don’t get outdoors enough. They have a lot of negative self thoughts.

Nutrient levels. Gut health. Hormone levels. Energy balance. Healthy connection to self, nature, others. Regular movement.

These things don’t just matter… they’re foundational. And you can’t out-peptide, out-IV, out-medicate what’s foundational. ✨✨✨

If you’re curious about your foundational health, I’m doing 15 min telemedicine consults. Would be happy to connect.

📣📣📣BIG ANNOUCEMENT 📣📣
I have been lucky enough to work with Forum Health Denver for the last year here in Cherry Creek being under the wing of Dr. Grover, who has been in practice for around 30 years. The big news is that on June 30 Dr. Grover is retiring ( well deserved ) and starting July 1, I will be taking over as the lead provider here at Forum Health Denver. This is not a responsibility that I take lightly... I am completely honored ecstatic, excited about ALL. THE. THINGS. Especially keeping our model of providing primary care and functional medicine here in the greater Denver area! Let’s go!

Had a great time today with Denver Channel 7 Mile High Living morning show with discussing holistic approaches to Allergy Relief that we provide here Forum Health Denver!

Some key points are:
1. Prevention is better than waiting until your symptoms get bad.
2. Change your pillowcases often, and change clothes when you get home after being outside.
3. Targeted supplementation (like vitamin c and quercetin) can help calm your immune system.
4. Do not overuse nasal decongestants, as they can give you rebound congestion and make it worse!

If you missed the segment, do not worry, we will post soon!

“I’ve gained weight and I think I need a GLP-1.”

A patient came to me and said she could not lose the post pregnancy weight. Everything she tried did not work. She was also tired and lethargic, and with young kids, it makes sense, but was the more to the story…

I always look a hormones, both s*x hormones and thyroid hormones to get a full picture.

The thing we found; the patient couldn’t lose weight and had low energy because her TSH was 50. She was in full blown hypothyroidism and had no idea.

First and foremost, we needed to treat her hormone depletion.

Our hormones are the messengers that tell the cells and organ systems in our body what to do. If you’ve never had yours checked and are curious, talk to your provider, or come see me Denver . I’m able to check your labs in person or telemed.

“Your bloodwork is fine.” But you’re exhausted, losing hair, and can barely get through the day. Sound familiar?

You are allowed to advocate for yourself. Here’s how.

✅ ASK SPECIFICALLY for a ferritin test — it may not be included in standard panels.
✅ REQUEST THE NUMBERS — don’t just accept “normal.” Ask for the actual value.
✅ BRING YOUR SYMPTOMS — write them down before your appointment. Fatigue, hair loss, brain fog, restless legs — all of it counts.
✅ SEEK A SECOND OPINION if you’re dismissed. You know your body.
✅ TRACK OVER TIME — a single result is a snapshot. Trends matter.

Low ferritin is one of the most common and most overlooked nutritional deficiencies in the world — especially in women.

You deserve answers. Share this with someone who needs to hear it today. 🧡

People come to all of the time saying, “I think my hormones are off,” but it ends up being something completely different…

Did you know your iron levels can look “normal” — and you can still be running on empty? 🩸

That’s because most standard blood panels check serum iron or hemoglobin. But ferritin is the real story.

Ferritin is a protein that STORES iron in your cells. It’s your body’s iron reserve tank. When it drops too low, your body starts borrowing from vital functions — long before anemia ever shows up on a test.

You can have “normal” iron and dangerously low ferritin at the same time.

💡 Ask your provider for a ferritin test specifically — it’s not always included in routine bloodwork. Or you can come see me virtually or in person 🙃

Continue to trust your body when you know something is off.
