I know this is a bold statement but I mean it 😂
Starting a GLP-1 genuinely changed my life with PMOS/PCOS.
Sure, there was a little weight loss, but realistically it’s the smallest amount. & it’s not even close to the whole reason I feel this way.
For YEARS I felt like I was doing everything I was “supposed” to do and my body just…wasn’t responding the way everyone told me it should.
I’m a dietitian. I knew what to eat. I exercised. I understood insulin resistance. I knew the science.
And it was still freaking HARD.
Then I started a GLP-1 and for the first time I understood what it felt like to not be fighting my body all the time.
My food noise got quieter. I could actually feel satisfied. Managing my weight didn’t feel like a full-time job. And I finally felt like all of the habits I’d worked so hard to build could actually WORK for me.
Do I still have PMOS/PCOS? Yep. 🫠
Do I still have to take care of myself? Obviously.👏🏼
Has a GLP-1 magically solved every problem in my life? Lol absolutely not.🤪
But has it made living in my body and managing PMOS/PCOS significantly easier?
100000%.⚡️
So yeah. You’re gonna have a hard time convincing me this wasn’t one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. 🤷🏻♀️
PMOS/PCOS girlies on a GLP-1 — please tell me I’m not alone here 👇🏻
