How would I take care of my face with just $1,000 a year? 💸

You don’t need a cabinet full of expensive skincare products to start taking better care of your skin. You need to know where your money will make the biggest difference.

Here’s how I’d prioritize it:

✨ $300 on skincare essentials: A tinted SPF, vitamin C, and a retinoid. These are the products I’d invest in for daily protection, prevention, and healthy aging.

✨ Chemical peel: To help brighten dull skin, improve uneven tone, and address surface discoloration.

✨ Microneedling: To stimulate collagen production and improve texture, fine lines, and certain acne scars.

✨ Laser treatments: Worth considering for specific concerns like sun damage and stubborn spots, depending on your skin type.

Would I do all three treatments with the remaining $700? Probably not. I’d choose the ones that would make the biggest difference for my skin and build from there.

That’s why I’m such a believer in having a skin professional who gets to know your skin, tracks your progress, and helps you decide what to invest in next.

If you had $1,000 to spend on your skin this year, where would you put it? 👇

Your fall dark spots started in July.

Not every dark spot is the same. A sunspot, melasma and a breakout mark can look alike but need different care. That’s why I figure out your pigment before I treat it.

Sunscreen every day. Yes, even in December. ☀️

📌 Save this and follow. Next week: the dark spot mistake I see every single week.

One facial won’t fix your skin. A plan will.

After 14 years of doing skin, this is the thing I see most: you book a facial, love how your skin feels, and two weeks later it’s back to where it started.

That’s not your fault. Your skin in January isn’t your skin in July, and here in Denver we’re a mile closer to the sun.

So at Skin Mix, I don’t repeat the same treatment on you. We mix it:
→ a peel one month
→ a HydraFacial the next
→ microneedling when your skin needs collagen support

Your Skin Guide adjusts every visit to what your skin needs right now. That’s the Good Skin Club: guided monthly care, not a one-time fix.

At home, keep it simple: cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate, sunscreen. You don’t need 12 products.

Comment PLAN and I’ll tell you what your skin needs this month. 💬

Your dark spots aren’t coming back because your products stopped working.
They come back because pigment isn’t one problem with one fix. Sun turns it on. Heat turns it on. Hormones turn it on. And here in Denver, we’re a mile closer to the sun all year, even in January.
Treat it once and stop, and it comes back. Pigment needs a plan that changes with the seasons.

The concealer every morning. The spot that makes you look like you have a mustache. I get it, because I have it too.

Here I’ll share what actually works for pigment in Denver’s sun, what happens in my treatment room, and how I take care of my own melasma. Every Wednesday, en español.

Tell me in the comments: what’s the one thing about your skin that drives you crazy? 👇

Nobody talks about how much better skin responds when treatments are done consistently and the barrier is actually healthy.

This is why timing matters.
Why recovery matters.
Why homecare matters.

Lasers, peels, microneedling, collagen stimulation — they all work differently when the skin is functioning well.

The results become way more exponential over time.

Good skin is built in layers.

The goal isn’t “different.”
The goal is:
“You look really good lately…”
