Say hello to Shelly, the powerhouse behind Grand! With over 30 years in the hair industry, she’s not just the owner, an educator and stylist; she’s the heart and vision of everything we do here.

Shelly started her career the same way so many of our students do: with scissors in hand and a passion for making people feel great. Three decades later, that passion has only grown. She’s built Grand Salon & MedSpa (plus Grand Academy | Denver Cosmetology Apprenticeship) into a space where technical excellence meets genuine care, where business savvy meets creative artistry, and where every stylist who walks through our doors gets mentored by someone who’s truly been in the chair (and behind it).

From perfecting precision cuts on the mannequin block to color consultations that leave clients glowing, Shelly proves every day that this industry is equal parts craft and business, and she’s mastered both.
