What if instead of a nervous system we all had a super chill system?

Turns out, that’s exactly what a cold plunge is trying to build.

When you first sit into cold water, your body goes into an immediate “fight or flight” mode (shock, gasping, wanting to jump out). But the real magic happens when you consciously breathe through it.

By teaching your body to relax under extreme physical stress, you are effectively training your nervous system. You’re shifting from that frantic, high-alert state into your parasympathetic state - aka the actual “chill system” responsible for resting, recovery, and resetting.

Think of it as a manual override for your stress tolerance.

Designed to help you transition into your week by slowing down, every Monday at 7 pm we’re hosting a guided, 50-minute contrast therapy session centered around intentional breathing and real conversation.

Each session opens with a grounding theme to center your focus before moving through two rounds of sauna and cold plunge with guided breath.

Big milestones and even bigger news! 🎂✨

We recently celebrated a very special 5th birthday for co-owner Joe’s nephew, Kelly III. Watching him grow and take on the world while living with CTD is a constant reminder of why we do what we do.

We’re feeling extra hopeful after reading about new research into gene therapies that could finally bridge the gap for CTD patients. It’s a major step toward finding a way for the brain to process the energy it needs, and it’s exactly why every dollar raised matters so much. This is the kind of progress we’ve all been hoping for.

Most importantly, we wanted to take a second to say THANK YOU. Because of your incredible generosity at our March fundraiser, we raised over $11k to support this exact kind of work, with our family’s total fundraising currently at $212k - 26% to goal!!

You aren’t just supporters - you’re the community making this progress possible.

Seeing this momentum build as we celebrate another year of Kelly III means the world to us.

On February 7th, we are bringing the ritual of Aufguss to Red Rock Sauna ✨

Join Alycia (), Denver’s first sauna master, for an immersive journey of heat, steam, and movement.

Inside the sauna, Alycia will lead you through a rhythmic circulation of steam, using intentional towel techniques to guide you through distinct rounds of heat. Layered with organic essential oils, curated music, and down-regulating breathwork, this combination is designed to help you drop out of the noise and back into your body.

Between rounds, you’ll have the space to break, rest, and reset in the cold plunge ♨️🧊
