Thank you to 9NEWS (KUSA) and Kim Christiansen for sitting down with Michele Frishman this week to talk about ovarian cancer awareness (and for wearing teal to help spread the word!).

Michele shared why knowing your family history and advocating for yourself can be so important when it comes to your health. She also talked about how free genetic testing helped her identify a mutation that put her at greater risk for ovarian cancer.

For most people, menstrual bleeding follows a fairly consistent pattern. If your cycle changes or becomes irregular, tell your doctor. And ANY bleeding after menopause should be evaluated by a gynecologist immediately.
