My daughter needed tabs in a size nobody made. So we made them.

Sizes 9, 10 and 11, for disabled kids who outgrew the baby aisle but aren't ready for adult products.

We talk about disabled kids a lot. They are kind of the whole reason we exist.

We also talk about the systems around them. A lot. Intake forms, waiting rooms, front desks, sidewalks. Most were not designed with your kid in mind, and a few were not designed with anyone in mind.

So we've put together some plain-spoken guidance for families who spend more time in those systems than they would like. Nothing here is medical advice. Most of it is just what you were already thinking in the parking lot.
