It’s official!! The Gabriel Santistevan Childhood Cancer Awareness License Plate Act was signed into law by Governor Hickenlooper today! We have so much to be thankful for! We could not have done this without the support from Morgan Adams Foundation and Cops Fighting Cancer! We can’t wait to see these plates on Colorado Roads! Thank you everyone! We will keep you posted on next steps. We love you all!! 💛🎗💛

Help us raise awareness for Childhood Cancer by getting more plates on the road!

Would you or someone you know be willing to hang a Childhood Cancer Awareness License plate poster in your place of business? If so, please send us a private message on this page. Tag your friends, Tag all the businesses you know, Tag your family!
We need 3000 plates on Colorado roads by November 2023! As of July 31, 2022, we are at 786!! We can do this, but we need your help spreading the word!

Four years ago today, Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper signed Bill HB18-1255 that created the Childhood Cancer Awareness special license plate!

For two years, a tremendous young man named Gabe worked diligently to make the license plate a reality.

The plate became available in 2019 and more than 1,000 people have donated to get it.

The plate brings hope to families facing cancer and is a tribute to brave kids whose lives were stolen by cancer.

Gavin is pumped about his new license plates!

Gavin is a senior in high school. He was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma when he was a sophomore. Gavin completed several rounds of chemotherapy and responded so well that he didn’t need to undergo radiation therapy.

Every license plate helps enable research to help kids like Gavin become cancer-free and raises awareness about .

As of May 31st, there are 684 Cure Childhood Cancer License Plates registered in Colorado. We want to see Colorado GO GOLD in honor of the brave kids, teens, and young adults that have been diagnosed with cancer. Your current plates don’t have to be expired to switch! Team Gabe is participating in the Petri Dash to help kids with cancer this weekend!

Because of , Gabe struggles with balance and motor skills, so he has a special 3-wheeled bike to burn rubber for the virtual event!

Join Team Gabe as they dash against in-person at Sloan's Lake on June 5th, or you can participate virtually from any location you choose from June 4-6, 2021!
