We are pleased to recognize Justine Armijo, an Innova Impact Foundation scholarship recipient!

Justine is pursuing her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing at Trinidad State College while serving her community as an EMT. After more than eight years at Mt. San Rafael Hospital, she plans to continue serving the Trinidad community as a registered nurse.

One of today’s highlights was the fireside chat, “The Future of Rural Healthcare in Colorado,” featuring former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius and Jeff Tieman, President and CEO of the Colorado Hospital Association. The conversation was moderated by Kevin Stansbury, founder of EPHC and CEO of Lincoln Health.

Each brought a valuable perspective to the discussion about strengthening access to care, navigating transformation, and building a sustainable future for rural healthcare in Colorado.
