The Arc of Colorado team was honored to join several of our disability advocacy partners at the Governor’s Residence today for the signing of HB26-1425, Expanding Access to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services, and HB26-1382, Supporting Coloradans with Disabilities.

Special thanks to Governor Jared Polis for signing these important bills into law, Lt. Lieutenant Governor Dianne Primavera for her tireless advocacy on behalf of Coloradans with IDD, and to our disability rights legislator champions Representative Lindsay Gilchrist for Colorado, Representative Kyle Brown, Senator Lindsey Daugherty, Senator Scott Bright for Senate , Representative Emily Sirota, Senator Judy Amabile, and Sen. Jeff Bridges, among MANY others whose leadership helped make this progress possible.

Together, these new laws represent an important step forward for Coloradans with disabilities and their families.
