Today, we’re celebrating Nelson Junior , PCC consultant Brazil , who joined the team in February.

💡 What He Does : As a Planetree consultant, he supports cultural transformation within healthcare organizations, helping teams embed person centered care into everyday practice. He conducts assessments, guides improvement initiatives, and partners with leaders to align strategy, clinical excellence, and human values. His work focuses on strengthening communication, safety, quality, and meaningful patient and family partnership.

❤️ What He Loves About His Job : He values the opportunity to help organizations build cultures where patients and families are active partners in care. Seeing how small, intentional changes can significantly improve safety and experience inspires him. Each project allows him to combine innovation, quality, and compassion to create more meaningful care journeys.

🎉 Fun Fact : While traveling in Mexico and Thailand, strangers approached him for photos and hugs, convinced they recognized him. Years later, a friend solved the mystery: he apparently resembles the host of Carpool Karaoke, James Corden. The resemblance remains debatable, but the stories are unforgettable.
