I know it's not easy. Please reach out for support! I am here for anyone who wants help personalizing realistic and doable changes in eating, movement, and mindset so they can feel empowered to meeting health and wellness goals- in a way that doesn't feel terrible!

I encourage anyone who has obesity or knows anyone struggling with obesity to check out the work of Dr. Fatima Cody Stanford. I have had the privilege of hearing her speak many times as the Keynote speaker in the CDR obesity trainings I teach in, and she's doing awesome work.
PBS recently did this great piece on her:

And she also has a short, 7-min video on her MGH profile page about here work here: https://www.massgeneral.org/doctors/19693/fatima-stanford

Dr. Fatima Cody Stanford addresses weight bias and the new clinical definition of obesity.

For my patients, families, and clients bracing to not receive their November SNAP benefits (or anyone else who is struggling to put food on the table), this resource can help you locate food assistance near you: https://www.findhelp.org (and/or please reach out to me directly and I will do what I can to help!)

Also for WIC recipients in NH, the NH DHHS did secure funding to extend WIC benefits till November 7.

Search and connect to support. Find financial assistance, food pantries, medical care, and other free or reduced-cost help in your area, anywhere in the US.

You can still find me inside the Zoo health Club in Derry, but I moved my space last year and only just got around to taking photos!

Happy Fall! I have the privilege of spending most of my work time in 1:1 visits with patients and clients or participating in corporate wellness programming so I'm not very active on socials.
But I try to post once in a while, so I just want to share this reminder:
Please remember that your value as a human being is in no way, shape, or form related to your food choices or how your body looks.
Foods are not inherently good or bad.
PEOPLE are not good or bad people if they live in certain body shapes or sizes.
PEOPLE are not good or bad people if they eat certain foods.
I know that our gross diet culture says otherwise, but this is the truth:
Food has no moral value. And WHO we ARE as humans, our contributions to our communities, our kindness and support of those around us, how we show up in our relationships and at work -- THAT is where OUR value lies!!
