hey all this is knappy again i will be working again at self Xpressions tue,thur,sat to begin with trying to find the balance between work and family. it may just be 5 hour setting for a little bit till i get transitioned down here better. my wed appointments from des moines dont worry amanda will be calling you very soon.

As our followers know, we will sadly be closing Mid Air on Oct. 31st. This Saturday (26th) is our Halloween/Going Away Bash. Our piercer, Chris, will be running a special ALL DAY before the party!!!

$20 for any piercing with basic jewelry included (tips appreciated).
This EXCLUDES: dermals, genitalia, and other advanced procedures.

This special will be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!! So you will need to call the shop to set up your time. He will be piercing starting at noon, with appointments every 20 minutes, and ending at 7pm.

After 18 years of business on 4th Street , Mid Air and Ink will be closing at the end of this month. This comes after the finalization of the sale of Randolph building which houses Mid Air and other businesses at the end of the block. Our location is our heart, and as our artists venture out into new endeavors personally and professionally we are choosing to not reopen at this time. We would like to thank all of you that made Mid Air and Ink a destination for tattooing in Des Moines . We have been proud and grateful to serve you all these years, and hope that you will carry your tattoos and memories from our shop with the love we had creating them. In lieu of our normal Halloween shenanigans, we invite all of you to join us in our shop on October 26 for one last bash. Stay tuned to our Facebook for more information on this party, and on where we’re headed in the future.
