Changes are coming for some Iowa Health and Wellness Plan members.

Beginning later this year, some members may need to meet new community engagement requirements. One thing you can do now is learn about the changes and keep records of work, school, training, volunteer activities, or other information that may be important.

Not everyone will be affected, and some members may be excluded from the requirements.

Thinking about stopping a medication?

Maybe you're feeling better, dealing with side effects, worried about cost, or wondering if you still need it. Whatever the reason, talk with your healthcare provider or pharmacist before making a change.

Some medications can cause withdrawal symptoms or other health problems when stopped suddenly. Others may stop protecting you from the condition they were prescribed to prevent or treat.
