A Personal Memorial Day Message from My Family to Yours.

Hello, I am Glenn Merritt. As the owner of Your Community Discount Pharmacy, Memorial Day is deeply personal to our family; it is at the very heart of why we serve this community today.

Before opening our doors to take care of your health needs, I spent 20 years in the United States Air Force, which included 5 years serving in Southwest Asia. Service is a value that runs through my veins, inherited from a long line of military veterans in my family:
• My grandfather proudly served our country in the United States Navy during World War II.
• My father bravely answered the call in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
• I was honored to carry the torch forward through two decades of service in the Air Force.

This Memorial Day is deeply personal to my family. Janice and I are pausing to remember the true meaning of this day. We honor the brave men and women—my brothers and sisters in arms—who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we enjoy today. Their courage is our inspiration, and their memory is our guiding light.

We are profoundly grateful to this community, our fellow veterans, and especially the families of those who never made it home.

Our Holiday Hours
To allow our pharmacy team to spend time with their families and reflect on this important day, we will operate on modified hours:
• Memorial Day: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Regular Hours Resume: Tuesday, May 26, 2026
