Yesterday our DL location had special visitors from Hope Blooms! Their team and volunteers visited with our residents while delivering handmade bouquets.

Hope Blooms is a nonprofit organization, based in Fargo, that repurposes donated flowers into beautiful bedside bouquets, delivering them to community members in need with one simple message: you matter. Its mission is to nurture emotional well-being through heartfelt gestures of care and connection. Hope Blooms serves seniors in hospice, nursing homes, long-term care and memory care settings and partners with nearly 100 organizations, including shelters, food pantries, recovery centers and other community-based programs. Crafting on the weekend... can't think of a reason not to...we are Always open to volunteers and or donations!

Staff have been busy making each Resident their very own Rice heating/cold pack. That way, they can have it warmed up in microwave or ice cold in freezer. So far they have been a really big hit.

Our Gardens are flourishing...we got tomatoes, green beans, sugar snap peas, carrots and Flowers...our Residents have been busy keeping the soil moist during these hot and dry days.
