Got and unreal experience for my first time attending I planned to take walk ins and I had a close friend of the man that in charge of the convention (Travis) reach out to me asking for a Tattoo. This man (Dereck) wanted a cover up and touch up. Dereck tells me what he’s trying to get, start showing me who and what he has gotten tattooed. At this point i thought it was fake someone fuxking with me. This man has pieces by & more. At this point i was like Bs. The day came nervous, anxious, overwhelmed. Tattooing openly with other artist by name artist, and this man having amazing work. I felt the pressure. Getting compliments from big name artist was crazy, people, and best of all my client. Yesterday was a big step forward for me. Unreal. Taking this win i didnt compete but i opened a door for my future. The whole shop showed out, congrats to all my piers kicking ass everyone’s was on grind mode.
