Clínica de Salud Gratuita | Free Health Clinic! - 05/05/2023

¡Saludos! Nos llamamos Clínica Amigos Médicos y somos un grupo de estudiantes de la Escuela de Medicina de Wayne State (WSUSOM en sus siglas en inglés) que trabaja junto al doctor de medicina familiar y mexicano-americano Eliezer Gómez.

La clínica estará ofreciendo una jornada de salud gratuita el sábado, 6 de mayo, 9am-12pm, en el Ford Resource and Engagement Center (2826 Bagley St, Detroit, MI 48216) en la que el Dr. Gómez atenderá a quien lo necesite.
NO SE NECESITA SEGURO MEDICO, LA CITA ES GRATIS Y TODO SERÁ EN ESPAÑOL.

¡También estará Sight Savers, un grupo de estudiantes que hace exámenes de vista gratuitos!

En resumen, ofreceremos los siguientes servicios:
• evaluaciones de salud con el Dr. Gómez
• control de presión arterial, azúcar y peso
• educación y suministros de salud
• exámenes de la vista

Hello! We are the Amigos Medicos Clinic, a group of volunteer Wayne State medical students who work together with Dr. Eliezer Gómez, a local family medicine physician.

Our clinic will be offering free health screenings on Saturday, May 6, 9am-12pm, in the Ford Resource and Engagement Center (2826 Bagley St, Detroit, MI 48216).
MEDICAL INSURANCE IS NOT REQUIRED AND THE SERVICES ARE FREE. SE HABLA ESPAÑOL.
Sight Savers, a student-run clinic that performs free eye exams, will also be present!

In summary, we will offer the following services:
• medical exams with Dr. Gómez
• monitoring of blood pressure, sugar, and weight
• health education and supplies
• eye exams

Ofrecemos servicios de monitoreo de presión arterial, examen de glucosa, formula de medicamentos básicos y preguntas de consulta general.
