The Schvitz is closed to the public every Saturday night to accommodate our weekly private party slot. If you haven't been yet, check out our brother venue Dakota Inn Rathskeller, another historic gem just a few miles north of the schvitz. This Saturday will be extra fun as the illustrious East Side Dad Band will perform live in the Dakota Biergarten starting at 7pm.

It's spring but it feels like winter. Great time for a spring sauna promo. If you haven't been, this is a great way to experience the Little Schvitz, which is just two blocks north of the main club. Now through the month of May, only $25 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4-10pm (all coed). Just drop in. Robe, towels & hot tea included. Friday through Monday still reserved for private parties & overnight, which have become very popular.

"I remember the first few months of women’s only hours it reminded me of being at the YMCA in New York. Women of all ages, all comfortable in their own skin. I also grew up bathing in the sauna with my grandmother and my sister, so this kind of communal sauna felt familiar to me. There were definitely elders whose practice and comfort in the space informed my own. Of course it wasn’t until I decided to try a co-ed Monday after a hard day when the most memorable encounter occurred. I remember carrying a pack of Parliaments and a copy of Harper’s magazine into the smoking lounge, tucking into a corner seat under the stained glass, thinking it’d be the same near-silent reading space I experienced on Sundays and Tuesdays. Moments later, two regulars walked in, & that’s a conversation that still hasn’t ended."

The wait is over! Little Schvitz Public Hours start this week and we're thrilled to announce that will be with us the entire month of March. Reservations HIGHLY recommended as we are capping each session at 20 guests and expect them to fill quickly (booking link in bio / click LITTLE SCHVITZ PUBLIC HOURS).

Tuesday - Men Only
Wednesday - Women Only
Thursday - Everyone (bathing suits required)

Sessions are 4-7 or 7:30-10:30, and include robe, towels & hot tea. See you soon!

FYI - March 5, 25 & 26 are already SOLD OUT.
